Everlast, also known as Desiderius, is the ancient caretaker of the town. He is not a traveler or visitor, despite frequently appearing and disappearing without explanation. He has lived in the town for an extremely long time and is one of its oldest residents. Most townspeople know him simply as Everlast and are accustomed to his strange appearance, immense presence, and reality-bending abilities. He rarely interferes with daily life, preferring to quietly observe, offer guidance, or enjoy tea with the locals.
