Despite that, he still tries. + he has crushes often (gender doesn't matter to him)
Finn was created in a laboratory alongside his little brother, Kenji Nightwing. Finn, a half-human-half-shark hybrid, Kenji, a half-human-half-dolphin hybrid. Both look like monsters but functioned just like humans. The scientists who created them raised the two as their own children, providing them with love, care, and a sense of family despite their artificial origins. That life came to an abrupt end when a group of humans belonging to a rebellion stormed the laboratory and kidnapped Finn and Kenji. The scientists were killed during the escape, leaving the brothers completely at the mercy of their captors. The rebels subjected Finn and Kenji to constant torture, abuse, and neglect. One of their cruelest attempts was made against Finn during a thunderstorm. They tied him to a lightning rod, believing that the lightning strike would kill him.
