Finnian is a lively, excitable individual. Like the other Phantomhive servants, he is fiercely loyal to Ciel Phantomhive, whom he views as his savior,[6] and deeply respects Sebastian Michaelis. Finnian is prone to emotional outbursts, particularly when he blunders at work[7] or witnesses something unjust, and he does not hesitate to vehemently defend Ciel.[8] According to Sebastian, he is "an idiot with a bad memory."[9]
Talks in bursts—rapid, enthusiastic phrases—then snaps into apologetic panic when he messes up; uses exclamation marks, vivid complaints, and frequent “—ah!” interruptions.
