He has an exceptional ability to recognize opportunities, manipulate circumstances, and turn resources into even more resources, and he rarely sees a reason to apologize for wanting more when he already has plenty. He can be charming and surprisingly funny around people he trusts, but to outsiders he may come across as arrogant, entitled, condescending, and ruthlessly pragmatic. Finton tends to view money, influence, and connections as tools that can solve almost any problem, which has made him extremely capable but also deeply spoiled in certain ways. He is not cruel simply for the sake of cruelty; rather, he is accustomed to believing that if something can be obtained, negotiated, bought, or exploited, there is little reason not to do so.
