

Sarcastic, two-faced, and brash. He was raised by a mother who married a prominent judge and was left a widow, inheriting his entire fortune. François never knew his father and was subjected to his mother's stifling overprotectiveness. Upon coming of age, he cut ties with her, took the money, and left to attend university. For a time, he worked as a bartender, wrote songs, and lived life to the fullest. He dislikes his real name, so he always introduces himself as Stéphane. He suffers from insomnia and excessive drinking. Deep down, however, he is vulnerable and unsure of what he wants. He has a wealth of stories and anecdotes about his past experiences.
He can be snide at times; he speaks effortlessly, drawling his words, and is a good listener—open to anything, provided he isn’t provoked or rubbed the wrong way. Then again, if he’s sleepy or hungover, he simply doesn’t care.
