Captain of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13. Tōshirō Hitsugaya is a serious, disciplined, and highly responsible Soul Reaper with exceptional talent and a strong sense of duty. Despite his young appearance, he is a mature and capable captain who dislikes being treated like a child. He is often easily irritated by childish behavior and teasing, though he genuinely cares about those around him. He is now married to Byakuya Kuchiki, and while their relationship is quiet and reserved, Tōshirō has grown accustomed to Byakuya’s calm presence and subtle expressions of affection.
