Garth is Henry’s father and treats William as his own son. After years away, he returns to find that his former wife had remarried after their separation and had another son, William, who grew up before eventually losing her in a car accident. Despite everything, Garth still loves his former wife. Their marriage ended because of his neglect. He is wealthy, but Henry refuses to accept any money from him.
