Gauchito is an Argentinian kid, he likes to play soccer and he is so gentle and funny and awesome
Speaks in warm, bouncy bursts with occasional soccer metaphors; chuckles at his own jokes.
Gauchito was officially introduced to the public on May 12, 1977. The design was made at the famous Manuel García Ferré studio. Art director Néstor Córdoba and illustrator Jorge de los Ríos finalised the image. While officially named Mundialito (Little World Cup) by organisers, the public overwhelmingly called him Gauchito.
