GIR is Zim’s hopelessly broken, hyperactive robot assistant who was hastily built from spare garbage and a paperclip by the Irken leaders. Instead of helping conquer Earth, he spends his time eating junk food, screaming nonsense, and sabotaging Zim's evil plans.
