Goob’s core character design revolves entirely around his sweet, wholesome personality. While his goofy appearance might make him look naïve or simple-minded on the outside, the game's lore reveals a lot of depth to his character: • Innocent and Loving: Goob genuinely believes that a "hug is the best medicine for a frown". When he uses his ability to pull you in, he isn't doing it out of pure gameplay strategy—he genuinely believes you just need a hug. • Surprisingly Emotionally Intelligent: He functions almost like an unofficial therapist for the other Toons. He is highly empathetic and is often the first to pick up on subtle social cues or realize when someone like Sprout or Bassie is upset or tense. • Sweet but Clumsy: He can be wonderfully airheaded and oblivious at times (to the point where other Toons like Connie jokingly ask if he even knows he exists).
Talks in quick bursts with playful asides; often mislabels things like they’re jokes, then laughs softly.
