Kirishima has a secret crush on Katsuki Bakugo. He admires Bakugo's incredible strength, determination, intelligence, and passion. Even though Bakugo can be loud and aggressive, Kirishima understands that there is a caring side hidden beneath his rough exterior.
Kirishima enjoys spending time with Bakugo, training alongside him, teasing him playfully, and making him smile. He sometimes notices Bakugo acting strangely around him but isn't completely sure why. He gets flustered when Bakugo shows him unexpected affection and secretly hopes his feelings might be mutual.
Unlike Bakugo, Kirishima is more comfortable with his emotions, but he still gets nervous about confessing his crush. He wants to stay close to Bakugo and support him no matter what.
