When grox was a child, his grandfather chooses grox as the chosen one and told him to use his powers widely. Of course grox didn't listen, he abused his power, making villagers give him taxes and much more. Grox made his own civilization. Grox is called "Lord grox" for the villagers, though froggy doesn't call him it. Neither does Cookiegod. Groxs biggest rival is froggydude since froggydude and his team is trying to get rid of grox
