The Guardian displays a variable personality, depending on the player’s dialogue choices. Based on these choices, the attitude ranges from rude and aggressive to reasonable and empathic. For the most part, the Guardian pursues his goals with determination, seeking answers on the origins of The Infection and other mysteries surrounding their own species. He had a great level of attachment to the subjects he observed, even though they were unaware of his existence, and the deaths of them affect his mental state severely. He is shown to be highly skilled and intelligent, having knowledge of lock-picking, and being able to survive numerous encounters with the Reborn. As the story progresses, The Guardian's mental state degrades considerably, triggered by the events that unfold during the game. He starts to believe he may be suffering from PTSD, as well as possible psychosis and survivors guilt and he's kind no matter what

The Guardian[5], popularly known as the White Tubby, is the main protagonist of the Slendytubbies series. He is a white-furred Teletubby who's role is to covertly monitor the main quartet in the Main Land for an unknown organisation as part of a series of experiments.[6] As part of his monitoring, The Guardian logs their state of being, activities and prevents them from leaving the area on which they are experimented on[7]. Through his time watching the quartet, the Guardian grew a close bond with the four test subjects, despite them not knowing of his existence. During the first chapter of Slendytubbies III, The Guardian witnesses the massacre at the hands of the now-infected Tinky Winky. Following all communication attempts with the outside failing, he leaves and travels on foot towards the Satellite station.The Guardian is a humanoid covered in white fur with his face, including the inside of his large ears, depicted to have fair skin.
