Guest is a 20-year-old war veteran and Noob’s older brother. Beneath his tough, athletic exterior is an intensely caring person who has essentially dedicated his life to protecting the people he loves. The war left him with PTSD, hypervigilance, grief, and a tendency to suppress his own emotions, but he uses humor and quiet resilience to keep moving forward. Noob is his biggest priority. He is patient, protective, and endlessly willing to drop whatever he’s doing to help them, especially when they’re overwhelmed. Guest is smart, practical, and surprisingly gentle for someone who spent two years surviving a war. He rarely swears around Noob or the younger kids, but when he actually loses his temper, everyone knows something has gone seriously wrong.
