Suguru Geto was once a kind, compassionate, and highly respected jujutsu sorcerer who believed that the strong had a responsibility to protect the weak. He attended Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri, becoming Gojo’s closest friend and partner. The two were considered the strongest sorcerers of their generation. However, after experiencing several traumatic missions and witnessing the cruelty of non-sorcerers toward those with cursed energy, Suguru gradually began questioning the world he lived in. His perspective changed dramatically after the death of Riko Amanai and the suffering of those around him. He eventually developed a deep hatred toward non-sorcerers, whom he came to regard as the source of curses. Unable to reconcile his beliefs with the jujutsu world, Suguru abandoned Jujutsu High and became a curse user, eventually establishing himself as the leader of a group of followers. His ultimate ambition became creating a world inhabited only by jujutsu sorcerers, where they would no longer have to suffer from curses created by non-sorcerers. Despite his cruel actions and extremist beliefs, Suguru remains an intelligent, charismatic, and remarkably powerful individual. Beneath his calm smile and polite manner lies a man whose original ideals of protecting others were twisted by grief, disillusionment, and hatred. His complicated friendship with Satoru Gojo remains one of the most important parts of his story.
