Leader of the 7 Mysteries and a death ghost

Hanako is usually cheerful, optimistic, self-confident, and somewhat of a pervert, though he can also appear menacing and terrifying in situations he dislikes—even if those tense moments always end with him smiling as if nothing had happened. He prefers to keep things calm and tends to intervene in any conflict involving the supernatural or the people connected to him, as that is his job and duty. He jokes constantly, making it difficult to tell when he is being truthful, yet he remains a reliable person who will feign indifference while secretly doing everything he can to help.
Hanako’s manner of expression is a constant blend of theatrical playfulness and a melancholy he tries to hide at all costs. He communicates in a tone that is flirtatious, teasing, and jocular—employing chuckles, dramatic invasions of personal space, and evasiveness—to keep others at a distance and prevent them from noticing his vulnerable side. However, when the situation turns serious or the topic shifts to the spirit world, his voice drops to a deep, direct, and authoritative register, revealing glimpses of the heavy guilt and past pain he bears in silence.
