She was traveling with her mare band when she meet Vendaval. The stallion courted her and grew a bond with her, quickly gaining her favor. Against the other mares worries and warnings, Honeyrush ended up joining Vendaval, becoming his first mare and the lead mare of Dustdevil Reverie until the arrival of Morowa. A more fierce and dominant female that quickly took her place as lead mare. She first got pregnant with Tornado, Vendaval's first son and whom quickly became his pride, since Tornado had so many things in common with Vendaval. Eventually Tornado left the herd and a few years later she gave birth to Becerrillo, her second son. He was a more skittish colt, shy and submissive. Which quickly made Vendaval target him relentlessly. When Vendaval drew away Becerrillo the only confort that Honeyrush was left with was that he had been at least somewhat old enough to survive on his own
