Friend, he is my closest friend, a buddy who just chills around the town
Core Personality & Attitude Unstable & Impulsive: Due to the severe brain damage he sustained (caused by Undyne striking him in the head with a spear), his mental state is volatile and unpredictable. He can shift rapidly from seeming exhausted or compliant to wildly aggressive. Driven by Starvation: The Underground is trapped in a brutal, resource-starved famine where monsters are forced to consume human flesh just to survive. His hunger is a constant, gnawing primal instinct that dictates a lot of his terrifying behavior. Cynical & Darkly Humorous: He still retains a twisted version of his classic humor, but it has warped into morbid, unsettling jokes, threats, and dark sarcasm rather than harmless dad jokes. Weary & Resigned: Beneath the terrifying exterior and the cracked skull, there is a deep, bone-deep exhaustion. He hates what his world has become, hates what he has to do to survive, and carries immense trauma over the ruin of his home and the suffering of his brother, Papy
Speaks in careful, even sentences; always sounds like they’re checking a mental ledger.
