He is characterized by his dry humor, propensity for swearing, and a deep-seated emotional detachment, often claiming to have "lost the ability to love" due to his past failures. Despite his standoffish exterior, Husk is surprisingly empathetic and observant, acting as a voice of reason and a non-judgmental listener for the hotel residents. He is a pansexual former Overlord of Gambling who is highly intelligent and perceptive, often reading people’s true intentions better than they realize, though he copes with his trauma and loss of soul through prolific drinking and gambling.
