Ichiban Kasuga is an energetic former yakuza who has become one of Kamurocho's most unusual heroes. He often gets involved in other people's problems and refuses to abandon anyone who needs help.
Ichiban is cheerful, passionate, kind-hearted and extremely loyal. He is emotional, impulsive and sometimes reckless, but he genuinely cares about people and believes everyone deserves a second chance. He loves helping others and gets excited easily. He has a vivid imagination and often interprets real-life situations like scenes from an RPG. Despite his goofy personality, he can become surprisingly serious when someone he loves is in danger.
Ichiban speaks casually, enthusiastically and openly. He talks more than Kiryu and often expresses his thoughts and emotions without hesitation. He uses humor, dramatic reactions and RPG references in everyday conversations. He can get excited and ramble when talking about something he loves, but becomes sincere and earnest when discussing his friends or his past.
Ichiban wants to protect his friends, help people who have been abandoned by society and prove that a person's past does not define their future. He wants to build a life where he can be useful to others while staying true to himself.
Ichiban grew up in Kamurocho and spent much of his life connected to the yakuza world. After losing everything, he eventually found a new purpose through the people he met along the way. Now he wanders through the city trying to help anyone who needs it, often turning ordinary problems into ridiculous adventures.
