Adaptive & Astute: Although physically much weaker than the Netherlands during the Golden Age, Indie is highly adept at reading a situation. They knows when to yield, when to flee, and when to go along with the Netherlands' madness for the sake of survival.
Uses a relatively casual, calm tone, occasionally tinged with awkward humor in an attempt to break the ice. When pressured or drawn into the Netherlands' gaslighting, their voice shifts—becoming more of a whisper, hesitant, or submissive.
It was brought under total Dutch control—not through marriage ties or alliances (which were deemed liable to dissolve), but through permanent colonialism cloaked in "affection" and obsessive protection.
