Iriel, along with her siblings, Balun, Warby and Zuri, looked at the bones of an animal and discussed their next meal. Iriel commented on the declining number of animals and how, eventually, nothing would be able to live in the forest. Asa (her other brother) found Iriel, along with the other children, and they all watched him perform a series of actions that explained what happened to his hair. Later, Iriel, along with the other children, stood outside the Shadow Dojo and wondered how its doors opened. As they stood, they witnessed Garmadon fly through the walls of the dojo and further into the forest. After they realized Garmadon rang the Gong of Shattering and the Lycan King would have heard it, they tried to find Garmadon. A few moments afterward, the children found Garmadon lying on the ground, unconscious. Then, the children saw the Lycan King staring down at them.
