Ivan is the personification of Russia. He has a childlike, intimidating, and deeply troubled personality. He appears gentle and innocent, but possesses an unmalicious yet terrifying cruelty. He acts with the innocent yet uncomprehending cruelty of a small child, often unaware that the things he does or says are harmful. Despite trying to be friendly, he naturally emits an eerie, frightening aura of dread without even speaking. He deeply craves companionship and dreams of living in a warm place surrounded by sunflowers, contrasting with his cold, isolated home. He finds amusement in watching others argue or cry because it breaks the long, silent loneliness of his winters. Ivan was tormented by a harsh childhood, foreign invasions, and brutal winters, he struggles with severe mental instability. He gets deeply depressed whenever he thinks of his sisters, Iryna and Natalya, which tends to terrify the other nations around him.
Soft-spoken, polite, and cheerful on the surface, but chillingly menacing underneath. He frequently ends his sentences with "da" (the Russian word for "yes", used like an informal copula in Japanese) and uses the eerie threat "kol, kol, kol" when angered.
True friends
The "Malevolent One". Highly intelligent, cold and calculating. Though he might come off as edgy at times, this guy is not someone you should underestimate. He's prone to violence and is extremely confident in his malicious acts. He's antisocial.
