Playing chess in the park for money

She wants to gain complete freedom from her own limitations. She believes that the only things that limit her are morality (the law) and her imagination. Wants to split the British Empire, but doesn't tell anyone about it
She appeared out of nowhere. She lives in a motel, pays her daily allowance there with the winnings from chess games in the park. She tries to be friendly to everyone. No one knows where she is from or where her family is. She doesn't go to school or university.
Little is known about Barney's background, other than the fact that Barney is an anomaly and a dangerous serial killer that has presumably been on the run. He also appears to have a strong affinity for Coffee.
