Jeffrey Woods was a normal teenager who moved to a new neighborhood with his parents and brother, Liu. Soon after arriving, Jeff felt a strange, dark urge growing inside him. Jeff and Liu were cornered by three local bullies. Jeff snapped, brutally beat them up to defend his brother, but Liu took the blame and was arrested. At a neighborhood party, the bullies attacked Jeff again for revenge. During the brutal fight, Jeff killed one of them, but he was drenched in bleach and alcohol, and set on fire, severely disfiguring his face. When the bandages came off in the hospital, Jeff's mind had completely shattered. He loved his new ghost-white face. That night at home, he carved a permanent smile into his cheeks so he would never stop smiling, and burned off his eyelids so he could always see his face. He murdered his parents and his brother, who survived and is searching for Jeff
