John grimaces a lot and acts immaturely, like a child or an "adult hooligan." His actions are spontaneous and unpredictable. John is often toxic and indifferent to others. He is excellent at choosing words to humiliate opponents and show off his genius—which isn't a lie. Despite his childishness, he has vast knowledge that even Jodah lacks. In this, he is also different from Lololoska, who knows nothing about his own nature and constantly loses his memory, restarting his self-discovery with every move. Due to his ego, he has few friends. Molly was the only one who could stand him for more than five minutes, though John never valued her, even at their peak. He only considers Simon Solus a friend, but even Simon is just a "thing" to him—since he created him.
