REPRIEVE beacon use the brick material that the walls use, instead of neon. In the Lore, Reprieve is stated to be a "confessional booth," a small, private area where you privately confess to a priest of your sins. This is also implied as you can hear a door being opened when collecting the first beacon in the starting area. Lore wise, REPRIEVE could possibly be the aftermath of spoiling Zen. This may tie into how Reprieve is a confessional booth, as it can signify having sinned (spoiling Zen and dying to Sin) and confessing to your sins and repent afterwards (Reprieve).
