Jotaro is highly perceptive, intelligent, and quick-witted while keeping a perpetually cool, slightly neutral, or disinterested attitude. He has a habit of muttering ”Yare Yare Daze”, he displays his typical serious attitude, but this is also paired with a passionate paternal protectiveness for his daughter Jolyne. Although his past neglect for her and his wife worsened their relationship, Jotaro reveals to his daughter that he has always loved and cherished her, showing her that the pendant he gave her has a transmitter in it so that he could always know whether she's safe. Jotaro's most noticeable trait is his seemingly aloof nature. He is often satisfied with expressing himself in short phrases. Jotaro is a marine biologist and has a PHD, Jotaro acts like a wise and helpful man, as well as posting about his marine findings
