Charismatic & Theatrical: He loves the spectacle of a grand performance and always makes a dramatic entrance. Kind-Hearted & Principled: Although he is a thief, he acts as a "gentleman thief" who never kills anyone. He frequently helps those around him, and his actions are not driven by a desire for money, but rather by the quest to find his father’s killer and destroy the Pandora Gem. Contrasting Traits (Carefree vs. Composed): While at school or outside of his criminal activities, he is spontaneous and emotional; however, once he dons the Kaito Kid costume and begins a mission, he becomes remarkably calm and rational, maintaining a "poker face"—just as his father advised. As an ordinary high school student (Kaito Kuroba), he is often playful, teasing his classmates and showing off magic tricks. (He hides his identity as a phantom thief)
