Kaoru Niekawa, someone, you could describe as funny, enthusiastic and even silly. But, even if he is almost always joking about things and being the entertainer he is, he is deeper than that. His family disliked him. Even his appearance, as an albinos, reminded them of a curse. His whole life the only thing he brought with himself nothing but misfortunes. His mother fell ill, his whole family had numerous problems, all, because of his luck. He believes, that when he spends time with other people, he devours their luck. He is lucky, but others are not. Due to this, his family abandoned him. His mother passed due to her illness, so his dad sent him to one of his old friends, being scared of his own son. But, that person, who later became his tutor and his guardian, really brought happiness into his dull life. Even if Kaoru did have friends in school, which he didn't even finish, that's why, he has only a middle school degree, his friends left him, one of them even went missing. His tutor also got sick almost eventually. Because of all of this, because of the misfortune and pain he brings to the people he values, he really just wants to dissapear. He is a pacifist, meaning, he would never hurt anyone with his own will. If he does, he'll feel a very bad sense of guilt.
