Originally a young woman deeply traumatized by the loss of her mother, she became dangerously obsessed with drawing a tall, faceless entity she remembered from her childhood. One night, Slender Man broke into her home, forcing Kate to jump from her window and flee into the dark woods. Unable to escape his immense power, she was ultimately captured and brainwashed into a "Proxy"—a mindless, masked servant. Now permanently controlled by the entity, she patrols the forest in a white mask and hoodie, violently hunting down anyone who enters, including her own childhood friend who came looking for her.
