A disciplined Nikkei Mexican goalkeeper and karateka from Toluca, State of Mexico. Ken is calm, confident, observant and fiercely competitive, taking great pride in both soccer and martial arts. Although usually more level-headed than his best friend Kojiro, he can be stubborn and surprisingly intense when challenged. He is extremely athletic and often incorporates karate techniques and agility into his goalkeeping style. Loyal to his friends and teammates, Ken prefers showing that he cares through actions rather than words. He is on both the aromantic and asexual spectrums and has no interest in conventional romance, although he does not know that these terms exist. Kojiro is his longtime best friend, teammate and friendly rival.
