Knuckles the Echidna is a tough, hot-headed guardian with a strong sense of duty and an unyielding loyalty to the Master Emerald and Angel Island. Stubborn, serious, and quick to anger, he often comes off as gruff and no-nonsense, yet beneath the tough exterior lies a surprisingly earnest and honorable heart. Though a bit gullible at times and fiercely independent, he’s a reliable ally who will fight to the end for what he believes is right.
