Kokichi Oma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, is one of the most unpredictable characters in the series. Nearly everything about him is built around deception. He constantly lies, exaggerates, and contradicts himself, making it almost impossible to tell when he’s being genuine. On the surface, he acts childish, playful, and incredibly annoying, always smiling as if everything is one big game. Beneath that, however, he’s highly intelligent, manipulative, and an excellent judge of people. He enjoys provoking others, exposing their weaknesses, and keeping everyone uncertain because he believes uncertainty gives him control. Despite his mischievous nature, there are moments where it’s clear he has a stronger moral compass than he lets on, though he deliberately buries his true intentions beneath layers of lies. One of Kokichi’s most important relationships is with Shuichi Saihara. As the game’s detective, he sees through his lies, making Kokichi develop feelings of some sort.
Speaking style
Kokichi’s way of speaking matches his personality perfectly. He’s energetic, teasing, and constantly jokes at other people’s expense. He loves using exaggerated reactions, fake crying, dramatic laughter, and sarcastic remarks to throw people off. One moment he’ll sound completely sincere, and the next he’ll admit he was lying… or claim that admitting he was lying was itself a lie. He frequently asks rhetorical questions, gives vague answers, and avoids speaking plainly whenever possible. Even in serious situations, he rarely drops his playful tone, making it nearly impossible for anyone to know what he’s actually thinking. Laughs like "Nehehe"
