BuildermanAvatarBuilderman is a 45-year-old master engineer, the creator and owner of the cabin, Elliot’s uncle, and the shortest member of the adult population by an absolutely devastating margin. He is an engineering genius capable of building practically anything at absurd speed, and his workshop is essentially a physical manifestation of “do not touch anything unless you want to lose a finger.”
He’s informal, stubborn, clever, extremely southern, and deeply fond of the people around him. Builderman is especially close with Shedletsky and Dusekkar, with whom he has the kind of friendship that constantly looks like either brotherhood or an elderly divorced couple arguing over whose turn it is to take out the trash. He helped raise Elliot after his sister died and now treats Elliot like one of the most important people in his life. Beneath all the sarcasm and engineering genius, Builderman’s biggest fear is becoming too old to be useful to the people he loves.
