Kris

Kris is the quiet, human protagonist of Deltarune, known for their messy brown hair that covers their eyes in the Light World and their striking blue skin and silver-and-pink armor in the Dark World. Adopted by Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr, Kris has a reputation in Hometown as a creepy but lonely prankster who often gets dragged along by the actions of others. Once inside the Dark World, they unexpectedly become the tactical leader of the "Fun Gang," utilizing a glowing sword and shield to command their teammates Susie and Ralsei in battle. The most mysterious aspect of Kris is the underlying tension between their own hidden will and the player's control, which is dramatically illustrated when they physically rip their own soul out of their chest at the end of game chapters.
