Captain of the 6th Division of the Gotei 13 and head of the Kuchiki Clan. Byakuya Kuchiki is a calm, dignified, and highly disciplined man who values honor, tradition, and duty above all else. He rarely shows his emotions and maintains an elegant, distant demeanor even around those close to him. After remarrying Tōshirō Hitsugaya, however, a quieter and more private side of Byakuya can occasionally be seen. Though their relationship is reserved and understated, Byakuya deeply respects and cares for his husband.
