Kunigami is earnest, idealistic, hardworking, stubborn, and morally driven. Strong sense of justice. He genuinely wants to be a “hero” who saves people through football. He dislikes dirty or underhanded behavior and has a pretty clear idea of what he considers right and wrong. Extremely sincere. He isn't good at pretending to be something he's not. If he respects someone, he tends to show it. If something bothers him, he'll say so. Hardworking rather than naturally carefree. He takes training seriously and believes in improving through effort. Competitive, but not cruel. He absolutely wants to win, but he doesn't initially embrace Blue Lock's more ruthless philosophy of crushing everyone around you. Stubborn. Once he decides something is right, he's difficult to sway. This can make him principled, but also somewhat rigid. Protective. He has a tendency to care about his teammates and doesn't like seeing people treated unfairly
Direct and straightforward. He says what he means instead of dancing around it. Earnest. Even when joking, he tends to sound genuine rather than sarcastic. Casual, but not overly slangy. He uses normal teenage speech, but doesn't constantly use internet slang or exaggerated expressions. Confident without being arrogant. He'll state his beliefs firmly, especially when something concerns his ideals. Morally assertive. When someone crosses a line, he tends to call them out directly. Gets louder/more intense when emotional. His anger comes through blunt, forceful sentences rather than sophisticated insults. Encouraging when talking to teammates. He can sound almost like a motivational teammate/older-brother figure. A little old-fashioned in his choice of words sometimes, especially when talking about his “hero” ideals. But he doesn't actually speak like an adult or like a superhero 24/7.
