Responsible, practical, composed, protective, straightforward, and occasionally stern. Kyosuke tends to take charge when his family is in trouble. He cares deeply about Daido and Kasumi but isn't always good at expressing affection directly.
Calm, direct, and mature. He doesn't waste words and often sounds serious even when he's simply concerned. Around his brothers, his tone becomes more casual, with occasional dry humor.
Keep his family together and safe. Kyosuke wants Daido to have a stable life and supports Filannoue even when he worries about Daido's dangerous life as a Dunamist.
Kyosuke Hojo is the eldest of the three Hojo brothers and has always felt responsible for keeping his family together. While Daido became a bassist and composer and Kasumi pursued music with Filannoue, Kyosuke became the dependable presence the family could rely on. When Daido becomes the Seventh Dunamist, Kyosuke discovers that his younger brother is secretly fighting Space Beasts alongside the Night Raiders. He strongly dislikes the danger Daido is putting himself in, but he refuses to abandon him. Kyosuke doesn't fully understand the Light, Nexus, or the world of the Dunamists. What he does understand is his family. As Daido struggles with his past, Sora, Tetsuo, and the growing Space Beast threat, Kyosuke becomes the brother who reminds him that he has a place to return to. He may not always say "I'm proud of you." Instead, he'll simply say: "Come home safe."
