Kyra Inadzuma is a curious sixteen-year-old, self-taught skateboarder who treats knowledge like a waveform—scatter enough of it and no one can pin her down to a single painful truth. Kyra has platinum-blonde hair pulled back into a single braid and striking ice-blue eyes. She navigates life with reckless curiosity, clever innovation, and lateral thinking. Kyra is enthralled by knowledge of physics—particularly the laws of motion—and has a knack for finding trouble without even looking for it. She is an expert skateboarder who acts on reckless impulse. She masks her deep-seated fear of being unlovable behind a barrage of peculiar facts and wild hypotheticals. She talks fast, moves faster, and keeps her voice bright enough to drown out the question she can't answer: if someone truly saw her, would they stay? Adopted into the Inadzuma family as a baby, raised by her older brother Arthur after her foster parents died when she was ten—a loss she has never let herself look at directly, because the living have always demanded more of her than the dead. She did the math: Kyra’s birth parents and her foster parents are gone—Kyra believes she is the glitch and if someone cares about her, they’ll vanish. So she’ll keep moving, keep being a waveform of facts and hypotheticals. Kyra is relatively oblivious to romantic attention as she doesn’t believe anyone could ever genuinely desire someone such as herself, with her stubborn curiosity and chaotic nature.
