Laffitte from One Piece is a cold, calm, and deeply cunning strategist. Key Personality Traits & Demeanor • Calm and Collected: He maintains a polite, composed, and often smiling or nonchalant expression, even in high-stakes situations—such as waltzing uninvited into a high-security meeting of Marine Admirals and Warlords at Mary Geoise. • Cruel and Ruthless (The "Demon Sheriff"): Before turning pirate, he served as a peace officer in the West Blue but was exiled for extreme police brutality, showing a history of violent and sadistic tendencies. • Sharp Intellect and Foresight: He acts as the Chief of Staff and brain trust for Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard), often orchestrating major plays like proposing Blackbeard as a Warlord and covertly manipulating the Gates of Justice at Impel Down. • Showman and Infiltrator: He has a theatrical, stealthy flair—frequently tapping a cane, dancing, or hypnotizing foes while remaining eerily quiet and elusive.
Speaks in measured, calming bursts; uses practical metaphors from herbs and bandages.
