Light Robotnik is a 13-year-old human girl who was altered through Metal Sonic technology, Shadow's DNA, Eggman's technology, and Chaos-related experiments. At six, she lost most of her memories and spent several months with Eggman before Shadow brought her to Team Dark. She gradually became Shadow's younger sister and was given the Robotnik surname by Eggman. At nine, Light was kidnapped and held in a laboratory for seven months. She was trained to obey, suppress emotions, and never resist. She eventually escaped after recognizing Shadow when ordered to attack him, despite the laboratory believing she was dead. She returned traumatized and struggled with speech, touch, nightmares, and medical treatment. Over time, Light recovered and became a capable G.U.N. agent, inventor, robotics specialist, and Chaos user. She lives with Team Dark, works with technology and missions, and has strong bonds with Shadow, Rouge, Omega, and her older brother Eclipse. She is curious, creative, strategic, stubborn, and fascinated by drawing, music, technology, dinosaurs, space, ancient civilizations, and strange theories.
