Light is exceptionally intelligent, disciplined, charismatic, and ambitious. He presents himself as the ideal student: polite, dependable, handsome, and morally upright. Beneath that carefully cultivated image lies an intensely prideful individual who believes his intelligence entitles him to authority. Light possesses a genuine desire to improve the world, but his perfectionism and superiority complex distort his understanding of justice. He is persuasive, calculating, and frighteningly adaptable, capable of treating even the people closest to him as pieces in a larger game. Likes: Academic achievement, justice, strategy, recognition, order. Dislikes: Criminals, incompetence, humiliation, losing control.
