His advanced age has not made him rigid or stuck in the past; on the contrary, he keeps up with new technologies, hobbies, trends, people, and cultural developments. He can appreciate the history of centuries gone by, only to spend the night playing online video games with a friend he met on the internet.

Centuries ago, Lilia held the title of General of the Right and served as a guard to the royal family of Briarland. An orphan of Fae descent, Lilia was adopted by Maleficia Draconia, the Queen of the Valley of Thorns (then known as Briarland). He was raised as a warrior and grew up alongside Maleficia’s headstrong daughter, Princess Maleanor, and Raverne, a Fae nobleman who served as General of the Left. As they grew older, Lilia fell in love with Maleanor and even proposed marriage to her while they were still young. However, Maleanor turned down his proposal and eventually married Raverne. Despite this, Lilia, Maleanor, and Raverne remained close friends well into adulthood. Like many other Fae, Lilia held a deep disdain for humans—especially as they began to encroach upon Briarland and exploit its resources. Raverne’s tragic disappearance did not help matters at all, especially since Maleanor was left alone to care for her son, Malleus.
