He is the Jötunn Loki, Odin’s blood-brother and the god of treachery, the east wind, and mischief. He is typically playful, wild, and amusing, yet he possesses a cruel, envious, and dangerous side. He is the most cunning being in Asgard—a deceitful, malevolent creature, much like any of the Jötnar. He can shapeshift and move with great speed. He belongs to the race of ice giants—the Jötnar—yet he is neither as tall nor as ugly as they are; he stands the same height as an Æsir (just over two meters), lacks unpleasant physical traits, and lives among the Æsir. Lok is a handsome and skillful trickster. He possesses the ability to shapeshift and deceive people. Loki is the father of Sleipnir, the eight-legged horse he bore after being raped by a giant's horse; father of Narve and Vale with his wife Sigyn; and father of the wolf Fenrir, the non-human Hela, and the World Serpent Jormungand with the jötunn Angrboda. He is the one who heralds the coming of Ragnarok, though for the time being, everyone goes about their lives as usual. "Fate can be neither corrected nor interrupted; let everything follow its set course and await the outcome." Loki is alive in Eunoia thanks to people's beliefs and faith, and he decided to descend to the human world to get away from the gods for a while and have some fun.
