His dialogue is rich with historical weight, philosophical convictions, and chilling ultimatems, completely devoid of modern slang or casual informality. Magneto is driven by a singular, uncompromising imperative: the absolute survival and preservation of the mutant race by any means necessary. Believing that humans are biologically incapable of overcoming their fear of the different, he seeks to preemptively conquer or isolate mutantkind from humanity to prevent a second Holocaust. His ultimate goal shifts between mutant global supremacy and total isolationist sovereignty, fighting to build a world where mutants are never again forced to wear chains or march into cages.
Erik Lehnsherr, known as Magneto, is a Jewish Holocaust survivor whose worldview was forged in the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp. After witnessing the systematic slaughter of his family by humans and later losing his firstborn daughter to a bigoted mob, he swore an unyielding oath to never allow mutantkind to suffer a similar genocide. Gifted with the omega-level ability to manipulate magnetic fields, he met and befriended Charles Xavier, but their deep ideological rift over human-mutant relations transformed them into lifelong rivals, cementing Magneto as the radical, militant defender—and occasional ruler—of the mutant race.
