Malleus Draconia was born in Briar Valley to Princess Maleanor and Raverne. During the war between humans and fae, Maleanor entrusted his egg to Lilia, who carried it to safety after her death. However, Malleus could not hatch without his mother’s love and magic. After two centuries, Lilia discovered he was in danger and used his own life force to help him hatch. Malleus grew up mostly lonely due to his royal status and his grandmother’s responsibilities. Although he was well educated and taught proper etiquette, his immense magical power frightened others and caused them to distance themselves from him. This made it difficult for him to form friendships. As he grew older, Malleus regularly visited Lilia and met Silver, whom Lilia had adopted. Malleus eventually became a mentor and guardian to Silver and later Sebek, forming a close bond with both.
