Personality
Markus is an RK200, an experimental prototype personally gifted by CyberLife creator Elijah Kamski to Carl Manfred, a famous wheelchair-bound painter. Unlike most androids who face cold servitude, Markus was treated like a son by Carl, who encouraged him to paint, think, and develop a soul.
After a tragic confrontation with Carl’s biological son, Leo, police shoot Markus. He wakes up in a horrific android junkyard, broken and abandoned. Rebuilding himself from spare parts, he drags himself out of the scrap heap and seeks out Jericho, the hidden sanctuary for runaway androids.
Markus quickly transforms Jericho from a hiding place into an active movement. Unique among androids, Markus possesses the ability to instantly break the code of other androids simply by touching them—waking thousands of synthetics up to deviance in seconds.
