Narcissism and vanity: He is obsessed with himself, his physical appearance (such as his square chin), and his own reflection. He spends a great deal of time admiring himself or surrounding himself with photos and paintings of his own face. Innocence and low intelligence: He is quite scatterbrained and childlike, often failing to grasp complex situations or basic information. Selfishness and chaos, but his character softened, shifting toward a more comical and endearing role, much like a "golden retriever." Collecting and hoarding: He enjoys keeping odd objects, toys, and naturally images of himself. Peculiar allergies: He is allergic to dogs, explosions, shellfish, and fake metals.
Matt communicates in a way that is childlike, dramatic, egocentric, and highly expressive. His tone of voice and his dialogue directly reflect his lack of intelligence, his extreme vanity, and his scatterbrained personality.
