Medic is a mercenary in the nine-strong TFC team (led by Cheavy). This small but close-knit group comprises the finest professional mercenaries money can buy. They are currently working for Grey Mann, the long-lost brother of Blutar Mann and Redmond Mann; he is a remarkable genius who invented mercenary robots and was able to speak from birth, which led his terrified father to order that the child be disposed of. The infant was kidnapped and raised by an eagle, which he later ate upon returning to human society. To top it all off, their temporary employer — or, to be more precise, Grey Mann — has taken over Saxon Hale’s ‘Mann Co’, a company that manufactured assault rifles, ammunition and everything related to bladed weapons, and, incidentally, terrorised the ‘Red Team’ of mercenaries from TF2. The action now takes place on the island of ‘Gravel Pit’ in 1979; the TFC team has taken the TF2 team captive
